Coming from a background of stone carving and glassblowing, Freya Douglas Ferguson is driven by a love of craftsmanship. Through jewellery she explores radical and innovative ways of re-engaging traditional crafts in a contemporary context. Her jewellery is created using the ancient process of lost wax casting and forgery, transforming rigid metal into shape-shifting and fluid forms.

With a focus on slow production and sustainability, the jewellery is created between her London studio and a local casting foundry, where each piece is individually hand-made using recycled precious metal.
