Transforming mundane office wear and once worn wedding dresses into hyper feminine womenswear, the history sewn into each Gloria Jane Royer garment is something special. Inspired by the relationship between people and their clothes, emotional attachment to the garment and recreating this into something new to discover new meaning, purpose and new emotional attachment with their new owner. Intended to live a fulfilled long life beyond her studio, with every piece re-made and re-loved by hand in her Margate studio. All fabrics used are repurposed, recycled or dead-stock.
